Senior Software Developer & Technical Project Lead

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to take technical ownership, drive projects, and eventually lead and distribute work within our software division. This technical project lead role involves overseeing the entire software development process, from requirements analysis and technical decision-making to testing, documentation, and deployment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in C#/.NET development, capable of working across the full technology stack, and able to independently lead technical and software-related projects while coordinating colleagues and supporting other developers. The role requires managing technical communication with international clients, suppliers, and partners, translating customer and internal needs into effective solutions, and integrating automation solutions, control systems, and other equipment with our existing systems. This position works closely with programming, design, service, and production teams to significantly impact technology and workflows. The work is primarily on-site to facilitate close cooperation and active participation in our teams.

• Develop and maintain software primarily in C#/.NET.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
• Lead software-related projects independently, coordinating team members and overseeing task distribution and progress.
• Review code and provide support and mentorship to other developers.
• Engage in technical discussions with international customers, suppliers, and partners to convert requirements into working solutions.
• Integrate automation solutions, control systems, and other hardware with existing software systems.
• Collaborate closely with programming, design, service, and production teams to influence technology choices and working methods.
• Work primarily on-site to enable effective teamwork and close collaboration among various groups.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience developing and maintaining software in C#/.NET.
• Ability to manage the complete software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, technical decisions, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Experience independently driving technical and software projects, coordinating colleagues, distributing and following up work, reviewing code, and supporting other developers.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English for technical dialogue with international clients and partners.
• Understanding of the full technology stack and ability to contribute across it.

Meritorious skills, characteristics and experience

• Experience with WPF/WinForms frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and Git version control.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, JSON, and OPC.
• Background in hardware integration, image processing/machine vision, OpenCV, Python, or C++.
• Experience with automated testing and troubleshooting installations.
• Ability to meet deadlines, reach project milestones, and manage goal-oriented projects effectively.
