Compliance & Certification Specialist – Electronics and Communication Systems
Do you have experience in product compliance and certification within electronics or communication systems? We are looking for a Compliance & Certification Specialist for a consultancy assignment with a company developing advanced tactical communication and hearing protection solutions for defence and law enforcement.
The products combine electronics, audio technology, connectivity and related software. In this role, you will help ensure that products and processes meet applicable regulations, standards, certification requirements and customer-specific requirements.
Working closely with development teams, you will support compliance throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements definition and development to verification, certification and ongoing product maintenance.
Key responsibilities
  • Identify, interpret and manage regulatory, market and customer-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate and drive product compliance and certification activities.
  • Support development teams in translating requirements into technical solutions and verification activities.
  • Ensure technical documentation and verification evidence meet applicable requirements.
  • Support audits and follow up on compliance across products and processes.
  • Assess how changes to products, standards and regulations affect compliance and certification.
Qualifications
  • Experience in product compliance and certification for technical products, preferably within electronics, audio technology or communication systems.
  • Experience managing regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and certification processes.
  • Ability to support cross-functional development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Experience with technical documentation, verification and audit-related activities.
Experience from defence, aerospace or another highly regulated technical product environment is a strong advantage. Relevant experience from other industries is also welcome.

You are structured, thorough and able to make complex requirements clear and actionable. You collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines and take initiative to drive compliance activities forward while supporting practical product development.
Location
You may be based in Sweden or Denmark, with a preference for candidates who can work onsite in the Copenhagen area 4–5 days per week.
