Senior Mechanical Engineer

Description

Seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with several years of relevant professional experience. The role primarily involves CAD design of very small and precision-demanding components, with experience in optomechanics being highly advantageous. The candidate should be practical and enjoy hands-on work, including tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembly. The development and manufacturing processes are conducted entirely in-house, requiring proficiency both in design and practical execution. The ideal candidate enjoys following products from initial design through to the finished solution.

• Design and CAD construction of small, precision-demanding components
• Catia or Fusion or similar
• Perform hands-on tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembly
• Follow product development from design to finished solution in an in-house manufacturing environment

Basic qualifications:

• Several years of relevant work experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• Proficiency in CAD design, especially of small, precision components
• Experience with practical hands-on work including welding, soldering, and assembly

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience:

• Experience with optomechanics
